(Sorry about the title. I just couldn’t get that song out of my head the entire trip)

Andrew and I took a short spring break escape to SF last month. It was a much-needed break from capstone and general end-of-school madness.

We stayed in Redwood City and Carmel-by-the-Sea, both lovely places. We toured the Computer History Museum (I mean…we studied CS and HCI); ate a lunch next to people who were almost certainly discussing their startup with a VC; saw succulents larger than our heads; walked the beach; drove along the scenic 17-mile drive through Pebble Beach and Pacific Grove; hiked a path by the Golden Gate Bridge (me in flats!) and so much more.

Here are some photo highlights from the trip:

Chilly but happy to see the Golden Gate Bridge! I had been to SF twice before, but this was the best view I’ve had of the bridge.

The day was overcast, but we still had a fabulous view!

Painted Ladies. Beautiful, but overrated? Maybe. We saw a lot of other homes along the way that were at least as neat, if not more interesting.
