Final project for my studio art class. I created 48 5×5-inch Bristol board squares and illustrated pictures of Converse shoes. The complete series, mounted on foam board, takes the viewer through the life of a Converse shoe, starting with the moment a person first finds the shoebox in a store. Throughout the work, the squares depict people wearing the shoes in a variety of settings. The bottom right squares show a shoe toward the end of its life — falling apart, breaking and eventually being discarded.
